Cricket and Thoughts - Part 2

If you're back for this one, thank you! My displeasure has dissipated after writing the first blog.  I know the previous one was a little dreary, but I want to make this one about our exceptional cricketing heroes! I know hero-worship is stupid, but the stories of our players who rose from the bottom are awe-inspiring.

Let's start off from where we stopped- Dhoni! He was the first-ever cricketer I knew as a child, and has always been my favourite one since then. He came from tier-two Ranchi and had humble beginnings. His family made sacrifices to support his cricketing aspirations. Despite financial constraints, he pursued cricket with determination while working as a TC. Along with his wicketkeeping prowess, finishing flair and leadership skills, I find his calm and collected composure in high-pressure situations particularly admirable. As I previously mentioned, he believes that outcome is a by-product of process, and one must do what is required at the moment. Victories under his leadership will keep inspiring generations to come.

Also, I've been reading the stories of our 2023 fighter squad. I wanna start with our Hitman skipper. Due to his parents' tight financial situation, he had to live with his grandfather in his childhood. He would visit his parents on weekends. After getting into the national team, his big centuries charted history and world records.

Then there's our fast bowler, Jasprit Bumrah. For some reason, my mom believes that I was in "love" with him and wanted to marry him before he got married. She still jests with me whenever he's playing only to vex me. Anyway,...

Okay it's been too long since I drafted this. I'm moving on to my next blog. Just google the life of Bumrah and Kohli. Bye.
